To celebrate the launch of our Ray Of Light vinyl series, we thought it would only be appropriate to make some highly rare and sought after colour pigments for the limited edition release – our X Ray Series is both beautiful to behold as well as being an incredible auditory experience. With over 45 minutes of forward thinking electronic music from a collection of the worlds most revered composers and musicians, this vinyl is without question one for the collectors – from the initial rumblings of Marc Romboy & Oniris’ ‘Spiral’ record, to the heads down techno remix of Bushwacka!’s ‘Losing Control’ by Dougal Fox and Glenn Morrison, there is something for everyone here on this record. We have cascading metallic synths with Dave Seaman’s ‘Loved & Lost’ remix, as well as the subdued warm house tones percolating from Danny Howell’s ‘Mycelium’. Finishing off the A Side we have a downtempo breakbeat electronica ballad featuring Italian wunderkind Dusty Kid in musical collaboration with label owner and founder Dougal Fox, and fellow friend and multiplatinum record selling composer, Glenn Morrison. Flipping over to the B Side we are introduced with an incredibly hypnotic Hermanez remix of ‘Dance Of Time’, which then carries into Gai Barone’s darker, crisper ‘Robots’ record. Lastly to finish off this vinyl we have Betoko with a peak time analog house record ‘Randoz’ – “it says hello without saying goodbye”, and this is the motif we want to leave you all with on this X Ray Series limited edition vinyl. Most importantly, we will be back later in the year with more new music, more rare vinyl pressings, all featuring musicians from around the world who have a unique voice – we are simply blessed to be able to showcase all of this music for you.
